American
Roulette is a game of chance that is played
by bouncing a small round ball onto a spinning
roulette wheel. When the wheel stops, the
roulette ball comes to rest in one of the
numbered slots or pockets. The object in playing
American Roulette is to bet on the number,
or combination of numbers, on which the roulette
ball will land.
What makes American Roulette different from
other variations of roulette is that the American
Roulette wheel has thirty-eight pockets, including
a 0 ("zero"), a 00 ("double
zero"), and the numbers 1 through 36.
Another name for American Roulette is "Double
Zero Roulette." |
